Im having trouble with my car.. I have a 88 rx7 i usally start in in te morning to go to work.. and as usuall takes abit.. let it warm up and go... same once i go home.. but lateley.... days off.. im out.. i leave house as usuall spent about an hour at the mall.. came out to go home.. and car would not turn on... battery is good.. still havent checked alternator.. left it there for about and hour or so same thing... came back about 5 hours later.. like nothing ever wrong started went home.. battery was still reading.... ... but i have yet had the chance to get the alternator checked... and it has been doing this know for a good month... so i try not to go anywhere in the rx7 excpet to wotk and back cause im almost guaranteed it turns on twice a day with no problem...

does any one have any suggestions or has any one had similar problems.. with any vehicles or any rx7s...

 

get a new batt or starter

 

well i did get a new battery and stillthe same so im gonna try the starter...

 

find out if its the alternator first. the battery wont be charged if the alternator is dead...

 

You may just have flooded it. When it happens again, leave the car sit for about 20 minutes. Then get in and press the gas pedal all the way to the floor once. This will shut down the fuel pumps. Then crank her up.
