i have a 1993 3rd gen efini rx7, drove it hard, and when in neutral the car started idleing at 500rpm, and struggling not to stall. managed to get it home, now it doesn't start at all. any ideas any1?

 

what if any sounds did it make? when NOT in neutral how was it driveing? when you try to start it now what happens any sounds ?

 

just sounded like it ws about to stall so i had to put my foot down to lift the revs so it doesn't stall. when not in neutral it was ok in the higher revs, but when low revs in gear it was again struggling not to stall. now when i try to start it the starter motor sounds fine but the engine just doesn't even make a sound.

 

It is possible that you popped a vacuum line off and now have a leak... check for a vacuum leak... if you can't find one check for a loose wire... in the end a compression test will tell you if you popped a seal
