Has Anyone Had Experience With This Shop?

Looking at Larsons Rotary Performance. Has anyone had work done there? Heard anything?

Well, shipping a car across the country can't be cheap ... how good are you prices? Do you have a shop?

Thumbs up Totary Rotary

Jeremy is a very competent Rotary mechanic. He is very honest and stands behind his work. I can't comment too much on his prices because I have not done a lot of research. But they are way better than some prices in the SF Bay Area that I have seen. And I can say you will get your money's worth. The best part I found working with Jeremy is his passion for Rotaries and that he did not mind me being involved in the project. Also Jeremy is flexible so if you have a number of projects in mind, talk to him about it. Maybe you can negotiate a package deal to save even more money.

Here's way too many pictures of my project, most of the work done at Larson's Rotary:

I met Jeremy at Sevenstock X and he seems like a good guy.
I'm sure he is still cheaper than Rick's rotary.

Jeremy at Larsons Rotary is a trustworthy mechanic and like rxcited said, he stands behind his work. If you talk to Jeremy Larson about rotaries, it will amaze you about how much he knows about these cars. Most shops cut corners here and there, but Jeremy has such an attention to detail and he takes so much pride in his work. He never cuts corners, and there is allot of knowledge behind every little part that goes into your car.

I take my FD to Larsons Rotary, and I take it to nobody else. In my opinion, he is the most knowledgable and skillful mechanics in the Bay Area, or California nontheless. His prices are also pretty good too. He helped my FD get up to 422 RWHP, actually, he is the reason my FD has 422 RWHP.

He's good people

It's funny you ask this question, because I was just thinking about it this morning. That isn't a switch, it is a sending unit for an Autometer temperature gauge. The funny thing is, we installed it there because it was convenient. But it does not show the correct water temperature UNTIL your thermostat opens (directly behind it in the photo). Other threads have documented this issue and how you need to install sensors like this on the other side of the thermostat to see the actual temperature from a cold start.

What I happened to be thinking about this morning is that by installing it this way, it actually gives you an indication of a failed thermostat. If it fails to open, it will be apparent when this temperature gauge fails to register after the engine has warmed.

Hey Jeremy,

no hate here, I was just making an observation . Based on what I just quoted, it sounds like our shops have a lot in common

It seems like the shops in cali (be it tri-point, xs, mazdatrix etc etc) are quite a bit pricier than the shops here in the NE, so I suppose it makes sense.....I didn't originally look at the location of your shop.

Best of luck to ya!
Rich

I just want to put in a good word for Jeremy. He's helped me out a lot and is one of the main reasons my car is as nice as it is now. What makes his shop better than the others around here is that he takes the time and care to get things done perfectly with a lot of attention to detail. I also like how he lets me work on my car with him so I learn a lot about my car and know exactly how everything has been modified If I need to fix something on the road or whatever I know how it is setup. Also his rates are really good for this area and hes flexible to work with a specific situation or time constraint that you might have. I would say hes the best rotary mechanic around and he should be the shop that you check out first.
