Can I use the GSL-SE distributor without the ecu, I have put a carb on the motor and I am wondering if I can id my car of most of the wireing, and re-run the ignition system wires.
please let me know, anything can help, as I am new to the world of rotary engines

The ECU does not get information from the dist like the 86-91 models do. The ECU on the se only monitors and controls fuel management.
