I got the greddy type s bov, and i was surprised because it does not make much noise at all. The stock bov disconnected from the air filter makes alot more noise. I had to mount it pointing up at an angle, so maybe the air is going into the hood and muffling or even blocking it from coming out? I tried adjusting the spring, but that did not change much. does anybody else use the greddy type s bov, what are your experiences?

yes, i know that the stock bov is probaly suitable for my 12-14lbs boost, but i am a rice boy at heart. plus, it seems like the stock bov leaks under low boost.

 

I have the type S in my car , it sounds really soft.

 

I have the type s and it sounds softer than some of the others out there. IT DOES get pretty loud if you set it really soft...but then you're blowing it off with just letting of the gas in normal driving.
