FD is shuting down by its self

I can start the car and warm it up and it will run fine, rock hard idle, sounds great.
Then while im driving it will start missing and then die(only the motor). I try to restart it and it cranks but wont start, unflood it and it pops over but still runs like crap like its on 1 rotor. Im thinking coil harness, coils or ground problem because the comp #s are good the plugs are new. Anyone else have this happen or have a clue where to start?

Does the car only die when you drive it?
If so, how far can you drive before it starts dying. Does it happen as soons as your start moving, or can you actually drive aroud for a bit before it starts to die?
What happens when you let it warm up, then just rev the engine in your driveway, does it die then too?

I can idle my car forever on the driveway and rev it up with out a problem but as soon as I start driving I get about 5-10 miles and it just dies. I wait 5-10 min and it starts up no problem. Could the coils be getting hot and the magnets in them stop working then once they cool down fire again? Never seen that happen before but I am just thinking of possibilities.

Yes, since you can drive for a while and then it craps out, I think you're on the right track. It certainly sounds like it could be something heat related with the ignition system.
