fd oil pump lines cut. but runs fine

Hey guy I'm new to this rotary business. Iv just pulled my motor out and I thought what's that ugly thing it's wires have been cut maybe I can just Ditch it. Un bolted it and found out it's oil pump. Can I bolt a plate over It to hold the piston In? Or am I in big trouble?

that's the oil metering pump, it injects oil into the combustion chamber to lubricate the apex seals.

You either need to fix it, or block if off and add 2-stroke oil to your gas every time you fill up.
