FD keeps on over heating

After you start the car about 15-20 mins, the temps readins on the PFC reads at 104C but the stock gauge reads at midway. I took the car around the block a cloupe of time and the PFC reads at 109 -111c and stock gauge reads pass half way, all most to the H so I turn off the car. After I turn off the car it start to split coolant out of the tube on the passenger side, had to put about half a quart of coolant back in the system. When I start up the car there is NO white smoke or smell of sweet. There was air in my AST and I release it, but it still over heat and spilt out a little bit coolant after I took it for a test drive. After that I checked the AST again and there were no air, just coolant I have a koyo radiator and pettit AST, and my fans work fine. The car runs fine but just over heat after awhlie. Can it be my water pump or thermostat? The car have the stock tiwns set up and does anybody know the normal temp readings on the PFC? I new to RX7 so if any body know what is wrong please help...

touch the radiator, if its cold, then its your thermostat...if its not then it may not be pressurized. I had that bad t-stat problem and cost me the coolant seals. Im in the middle of rebuilding so dont even let the stock gauge go past 3/4 of the way up...matter fo fact, if you see the stock needle move shut it off. Notice how much of a difference there is in temps from the pfc and the stock gauge!!!!

I touched my radiator after strating it up and it was hot. There was smoke when I start up my car, but it didn't have that sweet smell to it, just smell like gas and it smoke about a good 15-20 sec, after that it just idle fine. I don't know if my motor is bad or not. But shoot, it got me thinking about gettiing a rebuilt soon$$$

thats just like my buddies car also it does the exact same thing I recomended him to change his thermostat cause it might still be bad even though it releases coolant. Its probably not open some times not funtioning right. and if not it then check water pump.
