FD coils... a bit confused
I'm putting my engine back together and installing Magnecor leads in the process.
SO i got confused about the placement of the coil packs
Looking from the spark plug side, in the middle are the leading coils. It's one unit, no prob.
On my car the trailing 2 coil pack is on the left (front of the engine) and trailing 1 is on the right (rear of the engine)
after double checking the lead install (they all have different lenghts acc application) it didn't match up.
I always considered the front rotor to be nr 1 and the rear as nr 2. So if this is correct, my trailing coils are in the wrong place.
Can anyone clarify?
thanks

T1 and T2 coils are interchangable. If you want you can swap them on the bracket so that T1 is at the front of the engine. Or you can just leave them alone. Verify that the coil harness has not been installed backward, the plugs are color coded white, black and blue. In your case the white connector would go on the blue T2 coil because it is in the front.
T1 top front rotor spark plug
T2 top rear rotor spark plug
T1 top front rotor spark plug
T2 top rear rotor spark plug
