fc wont start

this is probably a newb question, but i just replaced the water pump on my 91 fc n/a and it started for a second, idled at about 1k then died, and now it wont start back up. could it just be flooded or what should i start looking at first?

My car used to flood if it was turned off or stalled before it had the chance to warm up so it could of flooded. I dont know why it flooded so easily but for me, I had to wait 30-60 min before it would start again. You should just make sure you plugged everything back in and also make sure there is enough gas getting threw the gas filter.
