FC FD RX-8 info needed

Hi,

today I have review what I have in stock and I was confused

I have
FC NA rotos
FC turbo rotors
FD rotors
??? rotors

it seems that all rotors should be similat, but FC looks like are diferent, because central hole is bigger than other. Firstly I thought I took wrong rotors, but crackshaft from FC FD do not fit to those rotors, so

please someone advie me regarding diference in
FC NA and turbo; FD and RX-8
rotors and crancshaft full details/dimensions

Thanx in advance.

Oh more thing, i founf one part of engine broken, can I glue, ot just search and buy a new one?

welcome to the board ...

what you describe sounds a bit odd. the are slight differences between the different 13B shafts, but generally speaking they are all interchangable, so any 13B rotor should fit without problem. check to see if there's any damage to the bearings of the rotors that don't fit the shaft. do you have pictures of the rotors and shafts in question?

as for your other issue ... it looks like aluminum, so i suppose if you end up without a choice you can have someone weld it back together, but my first advice would be to just replace it.

local dealer?

something tells me that having it shipped from the US would make it equal to however expensive it is in Lithuania.

let's say there around
3 rx-7 fc turbo
4 fc n/a
6 fd
3 savana fb
lots's of rx-8
i have few fc n/a for spare parts local think that I have everyting for rotary engine and transmition and body.

Dealers are so stupit, that they now everything what is written in brochure and nothing more. If I need info I have to search it on internet, because in Lithuania there only 3 poeple who understand in vankel and had few rebuilde, but as they say forget about it while you can.

So that is sad situation in Lithuania. So i rather take that part from uk from germany or from US.

if it would be at dealers, I have lot of discounts...

for the moment I found 2 fd crashed, maybe someone will give me that part as a gift

or can i use old from scratched rotor?

If you are on a budget you can press one out of an old damaged rotor. However, new, they are about $30.00 a piece. So if shipping isnt insane just buy a new one from a place like www.Atkinsrotary.com
