fc exhaust help

im thinking of putting a 3" exhuast on my fc, but someone told me modifying the exhaust leads to the boost pressure rising and rear rotor fuel cut-off which harms the engine. they told me to buy a fuel cut defensor which fixes the problem but then i heard it leads to other problems.Do i need the fcd or i can i just run the 3" exhuast all the way through with no harm???

Welcome to the forum and before you get flamed, we have a search function.

Yes, you will need the FCD and you will need to port the wastegate. Please do a thorough search and reading so that you have a full understanding of this mod. Done improperly, it can lead to boost spikes and detonation, a quick killer of the rotary engine.
