Fan Switch Mod

I'm about to do the fan switch mod and I wanted a switch that was a little more cosmetically appealing. The one i like is rated:

25 amps at 12VDC

The one that is suggested to use is rated :

10 amps at 125VAC

Will I be running into a problem running the one I want as opposed to the other one?

Mike

Use the switch to trigger a relay that's rated at 30 amps.
