My question is should i go with a single pipe or dual pipes?

Also does anyone know what the stock pipe size is on the stock exhaust? Considering mine didnt have an exhaust when i bought it.

I've driven v6's my whole life, and still get surprised by my n/a fc's fuel consumption, i hope your prepared for it.

I think single and dual is simply in regards to how you've built your car. If it's a stock vehicle, I'd just leave the exhaust stock. I believe it's a 2.25" pipe. Someone else can correct me if I'm wrong.

the stock ID of the exhaust is 50mm. 3" is a great upgrade.

Single or dual exit is really a personal preference thing. A single exit exhaust will be a little lighter. The racing beat system (dual) is great if you want a mellow tone, great quality and good power, but I've heard it's quite heavy. It's also on the more expensive side. If you like the single exit look better and want to save some weight look into the Apexi or HKS systems, but these are also going to be on the louder and more expensive side. Corksport (single) is a cheaper option at around $400 I believe, as well as various ebay systems. If you really want to free up the exhaust I would also get a downpipe and delete the catalytic converter.

If you're going to free up the whole exhaust system make sure you get a fuel cut controller or an Rtek ecu chip to prevent fuel cut from the excessive boost that is a result of a modified exhaust on turbo models.

And another thing to look into if you free up the whole exhaust is to port your wastgate on the exhaust manifold, this will help with the boost creep problem.

Lots of good info here...

Explore that site as it is dedicated to Fc Turbos.

Hope all this helped! And anyone please correct anything if I made a mistake.
