Engine Swap Help

i got an 87 rx7 gxl and just bought a 93 jdm 13b twin turbo engine for it and no one around wants or knows how to put it in so i gotta but i dont know were to start cause the engine doesn't seem to be able to fit the tranny can some one help me out with some tips n directions

welcome to the board.

go browse the Gen II section. i'm sure this swap has been covered in detail. however, i'll start you off with what i can.

do you plan to keep the motor turbocharged? what EMS do you plan to run it with?

the engine will bolt to the tranny just fine. what you're going to need is a flywheel and clutch setup from an S5 T2 (or aftermarket units for any T2 with the appropriate year's automatic counterweight). this is because the REW uses a different clutch setup altogether.

you're also going to have to address mounting the engine. the REW mounts from the rear housing, the FC3S is designed to mount from the intermediate. now i don't know what the intermediate housing of an REW looks like, but i suspect it's not setup to bolt the FC mounts. as i said, go search the Gen II section.

the engine didn't bold up perfect but they got it in they plumed everything everything is basically finished only thing their messed up on is the wireing i have the correct ecu that maches the engine and they have started making a wireing harness for the car but they are now stuck and its been over a year

Try starting with the 3rd Gen wiring diagrams:

Or you could by a used 3rd Gen wiring harness and start from there....
