I've been through the engine builders thread ...

So I picked up a '93 twin turbo with a blown motor. I've spent some time now looking for shops to rebuild the motor. I live in SF so I would love to find something out here. Can anyone recommend a good shop?

I have found one in SC ... Which shipping wouldnt be tooooo bad ...

There is Larsons in Antioch ...

.... Oh, and, who's taken an engine out of one of these ... Any tips? (other then "get a service manual")

 

Well are you looking at having a shop do just the R&R {Remove & Replace} or do you want a shop that can do the R&R along with rebuilding the engine..

Just looking for a shop where people have had good experience in rebuilds. I'm not sure what the issue with the motor is, so i'm in the hunt for good shop with honest people behind it

 

Myself and a few other local forum members have had good experiences at Turblown. However it shouldn't be hard for you to find a local shop being in CA.
