Engine degreaser bearing safe?

Im in the process of cleaning my engine parts and want to reuse my bearings. However there is a crap ton of carbon on my rotors and a wire wheel alone will not get it off. Is it okay to soak the rotor with bearing in engine degreaser (purple power in this case) / kerosene or will that damage the bearing? If not I can just spray on the degreaser and let it sit for a while.

I soak my rotors in purple power but don't let it set for more than a couple hours and don't let it dry, wash it off with water.
