At the end of the quarter mile i am still in 3rd gear,as a matter of fact when i cross the end of the quarter mile I am just going to shift in fourth gear,now tell me is this good or bad or i need some more gearing ,oh yeah its a series 6 turbocharged motor using a series 5 gearbox in a 2nd gen.

 

what are your times. when i ran low 14's and high13's i would have to go to 4th. But when you're not as quick, you don't have to. I don't knwo what's in your car to tell whether or not this is normal. if it's really modded then yeah something is wrong. But if it's stock TII stuff then no. We need more info.

 

try shifting earlier and see if your ETs drop. if not, then hell, keep it in 3rd if that's what works! that way you only have two shifts to worry about, not 3.

 

Its stock turbo 2 rearend,and yes the car is heavy modded.
