basicly the car starts sometimes and then just dies at random times while driving or parked

Sometimes the car doesn't start? Is i hard to start? Does it tun over okay?
Does it run fine sometimes?
How's the battery?
How do the battey cables look?
How's the rest of the electrical system? Any lights flickering? Any odd noises?
How's the idle on the car...?
