Ok Newbie here again, i swear it should be my Nick

anyways i bought a 1986 RX-7 about 3 weeks ago and I have noticed that everytime i press the brake, all my lights dim for a split second then go back to normal, everything from the headlights to the interior lights. And every so often when i press the brake inaddition to the lights dimming for a second my radio will go silent for a second then back on like there is a loss of electricty for a split second

if anyone has any soulutions or ideas what it might be please reply, thx in advance

 

Chances are you have one of three different things causing this.

1. Bad or failing alt

2. Bad or failing battery

3. Bad ground on engine or battery
