Dual 13B set up--hypothetical

I was wondering if anyone has ever set up two 13b's in an engine bay before (side by side--not end to end). Connecting the two output shafts via a chain then to a clutch. I know it will be expensive, but I'm more curious if anyone has ever attempted it, and what their mind set was? IE: double the torque. etc. I'm going to guess not since it doesn't maximize any of the key things about a rotory and what it can do, but in fact just doubles the parts and throws off the weight distro if placed in an RX7. about the only benifite i could see would be a doubling in torque (as well as other less likeable things:headaches). But food for thought.

Do some research on GM's four rotor concepts that they messed around with putting in a corvette on of their concepts worked that way and another one had one engine in front and one behind connected via some kind of differential to equal out the tourqe...

This is all I could find.

Nothing about a Corvette connected by a differential, just a four rotor and two rotor concept.
