Distributor yanked out, help please

I just bought this 84 gs, completely stock. The distributor was yanked out and the ignitors were bad. I dropped the distributor back in and pulled the ignitors off of my other 84 to make sure that was the issue. It starts and runs but is backfiring and you can tell the timing is off. Not sure how to drop the dizzy back in correctly, put a timing light on it and it is way off.

Can anyone tell me how to get the dizzy in the right way?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
