Distributor interchangeability

Does anyone know what years and engines can use the same distributors? Specifically can a 12A distributor be used in a 88-90 13B? Thanks.

Mazda did not change the dimensions for the single distributor over the years. A points distributor from the late 70s would fit in an FC engine and a crank angle sensor would fit vice-versa.

There are minor differences in mechanical and vacuum advance over the years. Very minor.
