Sounds about right. I am running a Dellorto 48 on a 88 Mazda Reman 13B. A friend of mine had a Dellorto on his Streetport/Half Bridge 13B and it ran OK but it's not the drag racer 1/4 mile type. On top end, the engine wanted for fuel. He ultimately went with a Holley.

I have a Holley 600 tuned to a 13B 4 port. Modification were done by Judge Ito and a Racing Beat Holley 4 port manifold ported in the primaries by Judge Ito also.

My dragracing days are over, so I am getting rid of stuff. The carb still is like in New Condition since I never took it down the track that many times. Not looking for a trade for a 48 IDF but might consider other stuff.

That is a good choice. I prefer a sidedraft or downdraft any day over a Holley for daily driving....

Except for the needle + seat, those are baseline jets for a stock port 12a. Which is pretty close to a stock port 13b too.

For a streetported 13b you want to go up on the fuel to 240 or 245. And possibly go down on the air to 225. Idle fuel jet needs to be at least 80, sometimes as much as 85. Besides the idle circuit, it also controls the progression circuit. When the motor progresses off idle and into the main circuit. Trial and error will get it right.

3.00 needle and seat is what the dellorto came with from RB. They are NLA so get as big as you can get, most guys go with 2.25 which are still available.

Oh, and the 80 accelerator pump jet is too rich per my REPU dynorun and personal observations. I have not had a chance to go down a size but 75 would be a starting point. On my dynorun then started the run then punched it. Noticed a huge increase of richness immediately, engine stumbled, then a/f ratio smoothed out.

THERE is some good dellorto info on gruntled.com you should look @ too.
