coolant bypass or not?

I replaced my stock radiator last week with a koyo unit. since the install, everytime I run the car, I let the car cool, and then remove the radiator cap, and check the level. Each time I have poured in maybe 8-12 ounces of water. Please tell me that it is just taking time to get my radiator and coolant system full of water, and not a coolant leak. Also, I am not sure if I am using the right pressure rated radiator cap, which one do I need and where to get it?
Thanks,

jason

on a 3rd gen it may take several days of filling to get the air out, keep at it.
