Clutch problems

Help! My 1987 RX-7 clutch is acting up. I put it in gear & the car doesn't go. Ok. It may go 5 mph in 1st gear, but it's at 4000 rpm!

What to do. What to do?

clutch is toast, you can get replacement clutch kits for cheap, if you don't know how to replace a clutch, labor isn't much for such a job on these cars.
