Clutch: FD Heavy, FC Light

Does anyone here currently drive both a FC and a FD?

My FC (convertible) is of course very heavy. But the clutch feels extremely light.
My FD is much lighter. But the clutch feels extremely heavy compared to the FC.

Would I be correct if I assumed that this is mostly a function of the clutch plate?

If so, is there a guide/number assigned to the plate that will tell me how heavy it is compared to others? (I'm going to guess - no.)

How would you go about making the FC clutch feel a little heavier? I am just curious at this time because I can probably get used to it, but going back and forth between cars, it feels disconcerting.

The FC clutch pedal has a helper spring, like the 84-85 FBs. It leads to a softer feeling pressure plate. I don't know what the FD has other than an aluminum pedal that wears out over time.

Thanks, I'll look into changing that spring out.
