Are all freer flowing catback exhaust systems for RX-7's loud? I would like to put a more open exhaust system on mine but it would be nice if it didn't wake the neighbors everytime I fired it up. Does any catback system and muffler combination provide the benefit of free flow exhaust but not the loudness?

 

Racing beat is the popular one. I have N1 dual, known to be one of the loudest, which it was but i used a straight thru muffler in the midpipe. BIG difference, love it now!

So if you get an exhaust and its too loud to your liking, get a resonated midpipe.
