Car smoking at start up if it sits for more than a day.
My car smokes if it sits for more than a day. If I drive it daily it is fine. I only drive it on the weekends, so every weekend when I start it up, it smokes for about three minutes and then it is fine. WHat is wrong???

Mine smokes too on start up each morning then clears up after about a minute. I don't want to say it's normal, however, a lot of the 1st gen's do this - I assume you are talking bluish smoke. Rotary seals (o-rings) are a nemisis - the good news is that it doesn't impact performance - don't worry about it, just keep an eye on your oil level.

If a 3rd Gen burns a lot of oil upon startup, what seals might this be attributed to? my CYM burns a considerable amount of oil upon start up recently, and it also developed an oil leak right around the same time. What would cause this?
