Unhappy Car smoking at start up if it sits for more than a day.

My car smokes if it sits for more than a day. If I drive it daily it is fine. I only drive it on the weekends, so every weekend when I start it up, it smokes for about three minutes and then it is fine. WHat is wrong???

As long as the smoke doesn't smell like coolant, then it's normal.

What color is the smoke?

EDIT: DOH! For some reason I though you have a 3rd Gen. I'm not sure if the same thing applies to 1st Gens...

Mine smokes too on start up each morning then clears up after about a minute. I don't want to say it's normal, however, a lot of the 1st gen's do this - I assume you are talking bluish smoke. Rotary seals (o-rings) are a nemisis - the good news is that it doesn't impact performance - don't worry about it, just keep an eye on your oil level.

Yeah, sounds like the seals, does it smoke up near redline?

If a 3rd Gen burns a lot of oil upon startup, what seals might this be attributed to? my CYM burns a considerable amount of oil upon start up recently, and it also developed an oil leak right around the same time. What would cause this?
