capping off coolant

I was wondering if anyone has any good ideas for capping off coolant lines and stuff. I used to use those rubber nipples that are usually used for vacuum, but those arent even good for vacuum lines either.

Right now I am not running a heater because of a leak in it, so my heater inlet and outlets are capped off with a small length of heater hose and a lug nut. It looks like crap but works better than those vacuum caps.

I am probably going to run 2 of the hoses together for my s4 t2 engine, but I still have a few to deal with
