WA Can you tell me?

What is your Opinion on What most likely is the problem with daily dripping of oil from under OIL PAN and CROSS BAR under PAN?Its 79 12a stock other then headers.THE car runs excellent ,no other data to add.If you suggest pan gasket change or pan sealing is there any dropping of this or that ,i have to do to get PAN off?Thanks ,for your TIME and HELP...SCOTT MAC

clean everything and check to find the leak.

can be from just about anywhere.. you'll have to do some cleanup work and check with a light to figure out the source. most commonly:

oil metering pump
leaky dowel pin o-rings
front cover to engine gasket blown
front main seal
rear main seal or stat gear o-ring
oil cooler lines
cracked oil cooler
oil filter pedestal o-rings

now, considering i listed just about everything that carries oil you can see where we won't be of much help unless you give a specific location.

Pressure wash the motor and buy a dye kit and save yourself the headache. You will find the leak(s) in a fraction of the time this way.
