QC Can someone troubleshoot this by ear ??? (click video link)

I have been hearing this weird sound coming from the engine bay and have no idea what it is. So far I've heard 3 theories. One person said exhaust leak, another said spun a rotor bearing and another said lost corner seal tumbling in engine. I don't know myself but if someone on this forum has heard this sound before and knows what it is or what the problem is. PLEASE TELL ME!!!

there's no unusual sound coming from the engine. but it does sound like there's an exhaust leak somewhere.

+1 on exhaust leak.

the video doesn't really catch the sound very well though but i could almost hear a knocking sound as well. i have heard something similar from a loose exhaust port sleeve in a rotor housing which someone had drilled out oversized and not pinned into the housing well enough and came loose, slapping against the exhaust manifold.

2nd video, better sound

I posted another video. You hear the clicking sound better in this one. I still haven't done anything about this. I will get to it soon enough. But right now, I just need to be reassured first.

Never seen a video diagnostic but, +another 1 for exhaust leak.

question, what kind of flange is on the back of your turbo? You running a "slip fit using piston rings", Flanged with gasket and bolts, or V-band?

Couldn't really make N E thing out cuz of your heat blanket.

If you think it's a seal... have you check your vacuum on your boost gauge? what do you have it reading at idle? Seen that puff of smoke tho... you burning oil? or is it just the type of fuel system your running?

Good luck.

Result... It's an exhaust leak. Coming from the manifold to engine gasket and the manifold to wastegate gasket. I had 2 exhaust leaks that's what was making that clicking noise. The smoke is because I have a basic untuned map on my Haltech running low A/F and running premix.
