FL Can I run a Bosch 044 pump on alcohol ???

I see that many are running e85 and it states that the pump is methanol tolerant. Can i safely run alcohol with this pump? I am trying to stay away from the mechanical pumps and price. Thanks

Bosch doesn't recommend it...

OTOH, i have run a Bosch variant of the 044, the 909, on straight methanol for 2 years and it still works fine.

Any pics or specs on your fuel system? I am looking at getting a new fuel cell with push loc hoses and fittings. Any info would be greatly appreciated! I could really get rid of the fmic and big fan and radiator on meth. What size injectors could be run? I have 850/1680's now. Do i have to replace my fpr (turbo xs) with one that is methanol compliant? So many questions!! sorry
