A/C Compressor Help!!!!!

When I turn my a/c on, the compressor wheel/clutch tends to squeak. Sometimes a little, sometimes a lot. I replaced the belt already, and I have tried belt dressing crap. It still squeeks. Have any of you had this problem, and is there a quick and easy fix? Should I just tighten the belt tension?
Thanks

Sounds like the clutch is going bad on the compressor or it might just need oil. I'd start by just going and having it serviced. If something is wrong they should be able to at least tell you what it is.

if the compressor is shot I'd pull it apart and see if I could fix it myself. The worst that can happen is you put it back together and use it as a core for a new comp, which is what you'll have to do even if you dont take it apart. Might as well see if you can fix it. There isnt much to them on the inside, just lay everything down in order and keep up with where everything goes. Snap some pics, it'll work wonders if you forget where something goes.

refacing

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, and wondering if that was possible and if it would solve the problem. I tightened the belt on it, and it stopped mostly, except for a few little squeaks.
