brake light stays on

the light in the idiot cluster stays on
how do i fix this?

There are 2 things that trigger the "Brake" warning - the parking brake being applied, and low brake fluid. Check the brake fluid, and the sensor wires (the ones that go into the bottom of the brake fluid tank). If that's OK, then it's probably a sticking sensor for the parking brake.

Check your brake lights as well, you may have an out bulb.
