boost on stock motor?

boost on stock motor?

hey guys just wanted your advice....i have a stock 90 s5 TII, it boosts at 5 punds. i have a boost controler, but what i need to know is how many pounds are safe to boost? My interest is around 10 pounds on a stock motor.

The stock apex seals will probably granade at 14 plus. Alot of it depends on the condition of the engine and seals. You really do not want to go over 10psi with the stock injectors. Stay around 8-9psi and you should be fine. Just do yourself a favor and get a Fuel Cut Defender if you haven't already.
