bogging w/ 3800 hesitation

my 87 gxl has been bogging throughout the entire rpm range and it hesitates at 3800rpm. The has been sitting for a year before i bought it and im a newbie to rotaries so i could use all the help i can get.

so it boggs under driving right?

What does it do if you just rev it?

Check you TPS. Hesitation at all rpms is a sign of misadjusted or bad TPS.

You could also check you fuel filter.

the 3800 rpm hesitation is quite common I believe, it s when the secondary injectors are supposed to kick (under load, that is, if you accelerate hard). I think it's an electrical/ground issue. Do a search, you'll find plenty of info.

Get 88 FSM at www.fc3s.org under manuals
get "fuel and emissions system" section. It's a gold mine.
