Blow Of Valve???
I own a 93 CYM RX-7 and had some mods installed on it. Some include Greddy T-04S single turbo, M2 large intercooler, MoTec engine management, Denso Nippon 850cc pri injectors, 1200cc second injectors, Greddy stainless ceramic coated down-pipe, Greddy Type-R waste gate, GAB coil-overs, 18" Racing Hart M5 wheels. My question is my car doesn't have a blow off valve. My mechanic said that my car doesn't need a BOV, but I think he is wrong. I run the car at 18 psi on high boost and 12 psi on low boost, (Greddy Pro-Fec B boost controller). Anybody with any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanx, RotaryRich

Unless it was removed, the stock setup has a blow-off valve. It's a little brown thing that has a hose that goes into the intake (on stock & some aftermarket setups) and a vacuum/pressure hose connected to the manifold. I removed this hose for the whooosh sound. Take a look under your hood.

I think the car's motor is broke or something. It's not running right and the idle is all screwed up. It doesn't have any low end what-so-ever. It has been like this since I raced it at Maple Grove Raceway in Oct. I emailed about 100 people asking them this same question and they are all saying the same thing. If you guys have anything else to add that would be great. Thanx Again, RotaryRich
