im just about to fit my diff on my fd wondered what was the best type of diff oil to put in it and how much will i need thanks

according to the manual:

1.3 liters
1.38 u s quarts
1.14 imperial quarts

you can't go wrong w Mobil 1 in your diff and trans

any expensive synthetic should do the trick. i use royal purple 75 /90

I'm with turbine. Royal Purple is excellent. If you use their engine oil, you do feel a difference in performance.
