battery size for fc.
well i have an fc, idk if it matter what motor you have. (turbo 2 btw). i was told to get at least a 650 cranking amp battery. i got a 690ca and it turned on....then i turned it off and it wouldnt start. so i waited a while and tried again. it work so i turned it off again to do something and it wouldnt turn on again. it trys to turn over but doesnt. the car has been sitting for a while so idk if that could be part of the problem. i see the voltage going down each time i try to turn it on. but after i leave it it kinda charges up a little. anyone know how many cranking amps i need??
idk if i needed 650 cranking amps or 650 cold cranking amps....i was told 650ca.
anyone know?? please help i want to drive my car

Again, it's NOT the battery.
400CCA is more than enough to crank the starter over.
Hell, a 300CCA should easily do it.
If you don't get the hint, it isn't the battery...

You got me wondering. I would guess corrosion on the terminals. What else could go wrong besides the battery and alternator?
Goodness, did not know the manual tells you how to disassemble an alternator and a starter. It always seemed they were parts you just replace.
