bad water seal maby?

I have a 86 gxl.. loosing water, constantly being pushed into overflow tank. I'm expecting bad waterseals from what I've read on the form. Just wondering what is a must to replace when I open the motor to replace the waterseals? I can't afford to rebuild yet but want to fix the water ishue. Input will be much apresheated.. thanks.

If the coolant was being forced into the exhaust system, you could try a product like Alumaseal. But since you are loosing it through the cooling system, I doubt it would help much. But still, at four bucks, it might be worth a shot...
