Autometer Fuel Gauge

I can't seem to get the damn gauge working. I hooked it per Autometer instructions (both ways) and it reads either nothing or straight zero. Any suggestions?

Are you really talking about a fuel guage or a air/fuel guage.

Sorry :)

I should have been clearer. It's a Fuel Pressure gauge.
