Hey I just wanted to know the specs and how to port the intake mainfolds on my 89 GTU, and I just wanted to know how the hell you get some much hp, I recently put my emissions back on and I got a 10mph high trap speed with them on, I also notice alot more low end. Please let me in on your performance secrets, is it really worth getting an aftermark ignition??

All you do to port the intake manifold is enlarge all of the ports at the flanges. Once you look at it, youll be able to see where you can port a lot, and where you can only port a little. You can port the lower manifold a lot, but not very much on the upper manifold.

To what exactly do you attribute the 10MPH trap speed increase? Did you hook your VDI back up?

I didnt notice much from the ignition, but I am getting better gas mileage now.

How did your h-pipe affect your powerband?

Ok kewl, and yeah I hooked my VDI back up you know, the acv, air pump and such. The H-Pipe gave me more low end and muffled the sound alot, it pretty far back because the pipes were too close near the header but it worked out. I just kicked a camaros ***, this dude had his girl friend with him and I was with my friend, he took off I followed and passed him at 110mph.... hehe, I gotten mine up to 145mph.... on the way back from corpus.
