6 port or 4 port?

I have a REPU that I am putting a motor from an 87 N/A RX7 into. I am converting the 87 motor to carb, I figured it would be easier than doing all the wiring and crap for FI. My problem is that I need an adaptor to use the stock intake manifold with the new motor. I found an adaptor on thepartstrader.com that is for a 6 port 13b and a 12a intake manifold. how do I know how many ports the motor is? is the 87 N/A a 6 port or a 4 port? how about the old REPU motor, does anybody know if the intake manifold on that is similar to the one off a 12A? where else would be a good place to look for the adaptor I will need? the carb I am using is the stock 4 barrel Hitachi. do carbs pretty much hace a universal mount? can I get a manifold from a holly or weber?
thanks
