another omp question

omp mop whatever. Ive been searching for a few days and cant get a straight answer. Is locking up the lever on the omp to the highest point bad for the engine or good for the engine. Some people say you burn more oil which makes more carbon which is bad. Some say the extra oil lubricates the seals better. So which is it ? Ive heard of people premixing with MMO and using the omp locked on highest point at the same time. The extra oil lubricates seals better and MMO cleans out the extra carbon thats made. Some use just premixed MMO. I have a 13b 6port with a mikuni carb and all four oil injectors and lines are going where they did with the stock setup Should I have the lever follow throttle or be locked up?
Any info is appreciated.

Tied in the full up positoin all the time will result in higher flow and as you know, the oil in the pan will go down considerably faster than normal. Been there, done that just to see what would happen. I don't recommend it at all. Just plain silly.

I'd never use MMO even in my lawnmower. Personal predjudice.

What you might do if inclined, is to leave the omp alone in stock form. Then premix if it'll make you feel better. Use two stroke oil. The TC-W3 stuff.

S4 experience here only.
