After math of a snapped driveshaft

Snapped my drive shaft a few weeks back and while putting in the replacement discovered when it broke it tore up my extension housing pretty bad and the car is now stuck in gear. What do I do now?

Wow, they usually make alot of vibrations before they seize up

Anyways, when you say extension housing, you talking about on the trans? Is so, easiest would be to replace the trans

What year is your transmission?

You probably also damaged the sleeve bearing in the rear of the tailhousing. I may have some first gen transmissions and may have some spare tail housings.

Once you pull the gearbox out is is fairly straight forward to remove the tail housing and inspect for damage
