93 usdm rx7 with jdm motor

I Bought a new motor the company told me it was 93-95 .... The motor is jdm what do i have to do to get it running being that the original ecu is n3a1 and the ecu to the motor i bought is. N3 f1

The first thing *I* would do is pull it apart and inspect the internals for damage, then I'd clean it thoroughly, and rebuild it with all new seals/springs.

"JDM Engines" are a HUGE gamble..

As for actually making it function... they are essentially identical except for some emissions add-ons. I believe the later series japanese models came with a better ecu, and the '99+ models had upgraded turbos and a more robust y-pipe.

I got the motor with the new y pipe . My original motor blew a seal . Hopefully i can get it to run

Most of the connectors on the old. Harness connect . But there was maybe 7 things left over which put me to confusion
