93 rx7- no power at fuel pump
Hey there i have a 93 5spd i bought 2 weeks ago this car has been sitting for a couple of years with the occasional drive around the block 52k on the mlg. the car wont start i started a month ago when i 1st went by to look at it . I checked the plug going to the tank for the fuel pump and there is no pwr with the key on .The gas smells like its not the best I have checked the fuel pump relay up front and all the fuses in the driver kick panel are good . AM I MISSING SOMETHING THAT WOULD PREVENT PWR TO THE FUEL PUMP??? any help would be greatly appreciated thanks Greg autospot@knology.net

On some Mazdas, the engine has to be running or there has to be air flowing through the air meter in order for the fuel pump to switch on. Try cranking the engine over while testing for power at the fuel pump. If there is no power still, check to see if the fuel pump relay is working.
