89 rx7 conivertible steering assist
Can anyone tell me if the 89 cinvertibles had the steering assist, where when you make a turn the steering fights ytou a little to straighten out?!

Yes, all the verts had power steering standard.
Its possible that your's may have been replaced with a manual rack, since the manual rack out of the base and T2 would fit.
But some centering (the steering/car wanting to return to center) is normal with factory wheel alignment specs.
